Music
Our ambition is that every young person should be able to experience music and to make progress. This includes singing, as well as having the opportunity to learn an instrument through whole-class ensemble and small-group teaching at Key Stage 2.
All classes have regular music lessons where they develop the skills needed to progress in music and develop a 'love of learning' in the subject. At Hornbeam school we value creativity and believe that opportunities in music can not only benefit with school progress, but have a positive impact on overall wellness and wellbeing. The staff at school are committed to delivering a fun and engaging programme of lessons, as well as opportunities to perform.

Currently we are using the Kapow scheme for our music curriculum.
